I’ve shown a scan of the original art for this image. This version has been adjusted and reoriented so it can include educational information. I’m pretty sure Backyard Enterprises got shut down before we got to that point.

Another informational poster design for Backyard Enterprises. As before, I did the pencil artwork and Jeff Swenson painted the colors.

Aside from area rugs Backyard Enterprises planned to create informational posters. This dealt with the hazards of PCBs. I did the original pencil artwork and then Jeff Swenson painted it. With real paints.

Huh. I think this is the last Backyard Enterprises area rug design. We’ll move on to posters, brochures and incident art next weekend.

Only a few more of these area rug designs to go. There will be more Backyard Enterprise materials to follow but there will be a bit more range in the coloring to those.

There will be no further posts until the 18th. I’m flying up to Anchorage, Alaska for a wedding and I don’t expect to have internet access while I’m there. And even if I have access it would probably be rude to take much advantage of it. It’s not like the family gets together very often.

Another Saturday, another cautious message about the intellectual capacity of toxic substances.

I don’t remember what PPE stands for anymore. And I’m too lazy to google it this morning.

Time for our weekend lessons in proper waste disposal. Today’s lesson – if you wouldn’t take a bath in the barrel, you can’t consider it properly cleaned. Keep scrubbing. And watch where you dispose of that cleaning water!

No matter how interested you are finding out what happens when weed killer mixes with rustoleum – don’t! It’s a bad idea!
