This card went to my friend Jane Hamilton. At least I hope it did. The address I had for her was kind of old and might no longer be good. If that’s the case hopefully she’ll drop by here one day, read her name and give me a new address. It’s kind of pointless trying to google her. She shares her name with a best selling author and a porn star.

I sent this one to my brother Tony in Alaska. At one time he had an awesome collection of Stephen King books.

Completely unrelated to the illustration here – three day weekends are great. The only problem is that there aren’t enough of them.

This one went to my little sister. My dad was married three times. As a result I’ve got (or at least had) two half brothers, two half sisters, one full brother and two step brothers. Little sister is the only one of the siblings who is blood related to all of the other siblings.

That hat just didn’t look right without its stripes.

This card went to Lora Ray. I should be able to say something nice about her but since part of our relationship involves insulting each other I wouldn’t want to break tradition.

This card is supposed to go to Jordan and Louisa. It’s still sitting on the kitchen table. I keep forgetting to get their address from the database at work. Silly me.

When I started sketching out this portrait my first inclination was to make the doctor more “realistic”, more three dimensional, more like a real biological organism. After looking at a few pictures for reference I decided that, for this illustration at least, I would have more fun doing Zoidberg as the cartoon he is.
