A sketch for the first of three illustrations in Terrors From Beyond for the scenario The Dig by Brian Sammons. I tried posting the final version of this illustration to my Epilogue.net gallery and got a “not Epilogue quality” rejection. Heh. That’s a new one. Usually I get a note that the work is flat or ill defined. The note aren’t exactly that but they are vague enough to be unhelpful. Especially when the flaw that it sounds like they are commenting on is usually an intentional effect.
Terrors from Beyond – Grave Secrets 2

This is the sketch for the second illustration I did for Brian Courtemanche’s Grave Secrets scenario in Terrors From Beyond. The final illustration ended up being one of my favorite pieces in the book.
Terror from Beyond – Grave Secrets 1

Another sketch for an illustration for Terrors From Beyond. This is the first of two illustrations I did for the scenario Grave Secrets by Brian Courtemanche. (No website or blog.)
Terrors from Beyond – Ghost Light

Back in 2007 I did a series of illustrations for an RPG book called Terrors From Beyond. That book is now out so I thought I’d post my rough sketches.
Today’s piece is for the scenario Ghost Light by Gary Sumpter. (And if he’s got a blog or a webpage I didn’t find it.)

So a friend called me up two weeks ago and asked if I had time to do series of small portraits – various people before and after zombification. I told him I thought I could do six total. If I had time I’d do more. Of course, two days later, I heard from one of the publishers who occasionally pays me to for art asking me if I was available. Unless I’m already doing paying work I’m always available for paying work. So I was only able to do six before and after zombies. Here’s the first, predead portrait.
