The rough sketch on the top left is probably Black Molly.
The dude with the shades is an adult version of Moe.
Middle left is Black Molly again.
Middle right is Lili Veracruz.
The lady at the bottom is Beastie.
Not feeling too sharp at the moment so I’m just going to post this page without explanations. Feel free to come up with your own.
The car with the tree behind it was sketched from my porch on Earl Ave. All of the rest of the figures here were first observed inside my head.
The demon Boralis gets a redesign. I thought the facial striping would make him look, if not scarier, at least weirder.
I think I did this guy as an adversary for Beastie. He’s a superpowered secret service agent. Or may FBI agent. Some branch of the government anyway. (Probably not the IRS.)
This is a sketch for an illustration in the first issue of the Glyph magazine. The story being illustrated was Mole by Stephen de Bonrepos.
This seems to be the same young woman as the one featured in yesterday’s post. I don’t remember what project she might have been part of any better this morning than I did yesterday.
I couldn’t tell you whether these sketches were for a project or not. They look purposeful to me, like I was trying to figure something out, to get a character’s look worked out.
