This is Sam, the co-writer of The Unspeakable and the Inhuman. I’ve met Sam twice. I think. The time I remember meeting him was when Derek and I went to see the original version of Godzilla earlier this year.

This is Ryan. Ryan is the engineer (I think) for The Unspeakable and the Inhuman. I don’t remember ever meeting him and I only had one wonky photo to work from. Hopefully he wasn’t too repulsed by the result here.
The Unspeakable and the Inhuman, part 2

Tim asked for portraits of main creators of The Unspeakable and the Inhuman. This is Derek Fetters, producer and co-writer. He was the easiest to draw since I’ve known him for over a decade now. He was the best man at Nizzibet’s and my wedding in Seattle in 2001.
The Unspeakable and the Inhuman, part 1

The Unspeakable and the Inhuman is a radio comedy/drama/serial that my friend Derek is putting together. Recently our friend Tim started putting together a website for Derek to host Unspeakable on and he asked me to do some illustrations for the project. The site isn’t up yet but, since I’m between sketchbooks at the moment, now seems like a good time to post the images. I’ll be doing that over the next few days.
The post today is the original logo I did for the CD Derek handed out at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival in 2006.

Designing George, Part 17

A third sketch of George for the same illustration. Now that George’s design is established I don’t have to worry about what he looks like I just have to find the best way of presenting what he’s doing. I start by giving the client 3 sketches. The client then usually plays a little mix and match with different aspects from each sketch and I do a second draft combining those aspects.
