He was close enough to just make out the giant driver. Its grim, pale face was framed beneath the permanent snarl of a long dead bear. Dark eyes regarded Jotham’s plight, dark and dead as the animal cowl’s, dark as gun bores. The polar bear’s pelt was as natural a fit as if it still rode on the gargantuan shoulder’s of its previous owner.

My Jesus is not your Jesus. Your Jesus is not your neighbor’s Jesus. Jesus in Paris is a different guy than Jesus in Guadalajara. Jesus on Mars is another fellow than Jesus on Pluto. Some Jesuses are judgemental twerps. Some have great dance moves. Some are better conversationalists than others. Have you talked to your Jesus lately?

The so-called Dreamlands pre-exist human beings by hundreds of millions of years. Serpent people sorcerors created the sub-reality as a safe(r) place to practice their spells before they used them in primary reality. Over millions of years the Dreamlands expanded. Each new dreaming species added to it until it grew to encompass our solar system. Every planet is inhabited, at least in Dreams.
