According to the Blair, the Burrabb are part of Sentient 41. That is, they are part of the 41st ecosystem to independently arise in our galaxy. The Burrabb are one of four “civilized” species known to have developed from Sentient 41.

Among the Burrabb, loud enthusiastic discussions are standard. From most human cultural perspectives these discussions look like heated arguments that are about to become violent. This rarely happens. The Burrabb need for consensus with their family group before their family group takes action generally prevents an individual burrabb from actually fighting with another individual burrabb.
